ASP.NET is a development framework for building web pages and web sites with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and server scripting.
Asp.net is used to build dynamic web sites, web applications and web services. ASP stands for active server pages was introduced by Microsoft to develop websites. ASP.NET is part of the .NET Framework. ASP.NET includes the services necessary to build Web applications with a minimum of coding. Using Asp.net a programmer can develop multiple types of applications. Asp.net supports multiple programming languages such as C#.net, VB.net, VC++.net, c++.net, v5#.net, F#, J# etc. ASP.Net supports three different development methods: web pages, MVC (Model view controller), and web forms. MVC separates web application into three different components: Models for data, views for display, and controllers for input.
