NX CAD is an advanced high-end CAD/CAM/CAE software package originally developed Unigraphics, but since 2007 by Siemens PLM Software. It is used, among other tasks, for: Design (parametric and direct solid/surface modelling)NX CAD is the industry’s only unified solution that addresses every aspect of product development from concept ideation to manufacturing.
The Software has powerfull hybrid modeling capabilities by integrating constraint-based feature modeling and explicit geometric modeling. It also merges solid and surface modeling techniques into one powerfull tool set.
